Body Length. Male: 4.5 mm.
Material Examined. Hatay-Belen-Müftüler (Dereboyu): 21.V.2009, 1♂, 1♀; Hatay-Dörtyol- Kuzuculu-Deliçay: 06.VI.2008, 1♂.
Published Records from Turkey. Kahramanmaraş ( Avgın 2006); Adana, Amasya, Giresun, Gümüşhane (Avgın and Nodmar 2009) .
Distribution. Anatolia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Caucasus, Talysh, Georgia, Russia (South European Territory), and Turkey (Gueorguiev and Gueorguiev 1995; Kryzhanovskij et al. 1995; Löbl and Smetana 2003). SW-Asiatic chorotype.
Remarks. According to Casale and Vigna (1999) and Lorenz (2005) B. femoratum caucasicola is a synonym of the nominotypical form, but according to Löbl and Smetana (2003) it is a valid subspecies. Specimens were collected from underneath stones along a river shore.
