Indian records: Nilgiris ( Hampson 1891), North India ( Rose & Dhillon 1980c), Kerala ( Mathew & Menon 1984) Throughout India ( Sharma 2014), Andaman Islands ( Rao & Sivaperuman 2020), Punjab ( Singh et al. 2019d), Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh ( Das et al. 2020b), Gujarat, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu ( Sondhi et al. 2021), Thar Desert ( Chandra et al. 2021). Global records: Mediterranean sub region and throughout the tropical and, subtropical zones, except the Neotropical and Australian regions, pantropical, extending into regions with Mediterranean climates. In SE Asia from Thailand, W. Malaysia, Brunei, Sabah, Sarawak, Philippines, lowland ( Robinson et al. 1994), Nepal (Bagmati, Godavari, S. Sakurai), Bangladesh, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Africa ( Sharma 2014), Italy ( Singh et al. 2019d), widespread across Europe across Asia to the Pacific ( Das et al. 2020b).
