Remarks

Strasser (1966) described the species from the town of Ivailovgrad in the Eastern Rhodope Mts., southeastern Bulgaria and later ( Strasser 1973) recorded it also from the village of Kostino in the same region. Stoev (2004) tentatively referred to this species and adult female and a juvenile collected near the village of Mezek situated only 30 km from the type locality. Recently, more dorypetalines were collected in other regions of the country, unfortunately without males to allow their proper identification.
