Type material. HOLOTYPE (unsexed, glued): New Guinea, Mt. Wilhelm, 3000 m., 4.vii.1955, J.L. Gressitt lgt. ( BPBM).

Distribution. Papua New Guinea: Simbu province ( GRESSITT 1959).
