Corallihalacarus Otto, 1999

Type species. Corallihalacarus chilcottensis Otto, 1999 .

Female. Genitoanal plate with two pairs of slender pgs, genital sclerites with single pair of sgs ( Otto 1999c: fig. 2). Number and shape of genital spines and acetabula not known. No epimeral pores present.

Male and juveniles. Not seen.

Remarks. A single species is known, collected in the Coral Sea, Queensland, Australia, extracted from coarse sand ( Otto 1999c).
