( Figs. 8d–g View Fig , 9 View Fig , and 13).
Type material. Male holotype from Brazil, Minas Gerais, Vazante , mining cave (35°03′04″ W, 06°36′05″ S), 08.XI.2008, M. E. Bichuette & T. L. C. Scatolini leg. GoogleMaps , deposited in IBSP (13064).
Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition, taken from the type locality.
Diagnosis. Diagnosis. Poecilocricus vazante sp. nov. resambles Poecilocricus itacarambiensis sp. nov. by the shape of sternite of the anterior gonopod, which is triangular and distally pointed; and telopodite of the posterior gonopod with presence of saw-shaped projections in the femoral base, but differs by the general coloration, shape of processes of coxae of leg pairs 4–7, and by the shape of projections on the femoral base of telopodite of the posterior gonopod ( Figs. 8f, g View Fig , and 9d, g View Fig ).
Description. Male holotype ( Fig. 9a–c View Fig ) with 55p+ T. Total length 59.0 mm. Total width 7.8 mm. Coloration in alcohol: general coloration yellowish brown. Three last antennomeres of antennae yellowish brown with some setae and numerous sensory cones. Collum in medial portion and prozonites light brown; metazonites with yellowish brown in posterior margins. Legs and telson light brown. Telson with epiproct not surpassing the paraprocts. Opening of paraprocts projected. Hypoproct subtriangular. Ozopores beginning at the sixth ring. Scobinae elongated and thin, beginning at seventh ring. Leg pairs 3–7 of male ( Fig. 9b View Fig ). Coxae of leg pair 3 is broken. Coxae of leg pair 4 expanded into a very long and pointed process. Process of coxae of leg pair 5 shorter than process of coxae of leg pair 4, apex rounded. Process of coxae of leg pair 6 is large with apex truncated. Process of coxae of leg pair 7 like process of coxae of leg pair 6, but longer. Gonopods ( Figs. 8d–g View Fig and 9d–g View Fig ). Anterior gonopod wider than long, with a triangular and distally pointed sternite, coxite wide with median round bulge at both sides. Telopodite almost same length as coxite, partly visible in the anterior view, with a well-developed pointed lobe projecting laterally. Telopodite of the posterior gonopod trifurcated as typical for the genus, the femoral base with saw-shaped projections. The external branch is bifurcated in two lamellated and thin branches. Solenomere lanceolated.
Female. Unknown.
