Cleotomiroides Schuh, 1984: 91 View in CoL (n. gen.); 1995: 211 (cat.); Kerzhner & Josifov, 1999: 278 (cat.); Yasunaga, 2012: 12 View Cited Treatment (diag.); Schuh & Menard, 2013: 6 (tribal placement).
Type species by original designation: Cleotomiroides ferrugineus Schuh, 1984 .
The genus is distinguished by the following characters: moderate sized; narrow fascia on hemelytron; slender antennal segments ĪIV; strongly protruding ostiolar peritreme; inflated pronotum declivent anteriorly; and boatshaped endosoma furnished with several structures on the apex and an elongated apical process. For detailed description see Schuh (1984: 91) and Yasunaga (2012: 12).
The genus consisted of three described species from Malaysia and Thailand ( Schuh, 1984; Yasunaga, 2012; Yasunaga & Duwal, 2015) prior to this study. Herein, we describe one new species, the endosoma of which resembles congeners described by Schuh (1984), C. ferrugineus Schuh , or, C. spadix Schuh. Here , Cleotomiroides is recorded from Vietnam and eastern Indochina for the first time.
