Diagnosis. (1) cephalic process red brown to dark brown, bright red apically; robust and rather straight ( Fig. 11C– D View FIGURE 11 ); (2) tegmina green or covered by white waxy with yellow spots, 4–5 spots on the white or pale brown band along the nodal line of cross veins ( Fig. 11A View FIGURE 11 ); (3) posterior wings blue with distal portion black extending along the posterior margin ( Fig. 11A View FIGURE 11 ); (4) abdomen black (fig. 1A–B).

Mesurements and ratio. TL: ♁ (n = 3): 45.5 mm (44.2–46.2 mm); TL+process: ♁ (n = 3): 63.8 mm (61.6–65.9 mm); LTg/BTg = 2.64; BF/BPrH = 1.83; LPr/LF = 3.55; LPr/BPrH = 6.96.

Distribution. Malaysia (Peninsular) and southern Thailand.

Notes. This species shows intraspecific variation of the colour of the tegmina: tegmina green in the intermediate form; covered with white wax in the pale form (which is the most commonly observed in Thailand); black with pale brown veins and veinlets in the dark form. The species was observed on Pometia pinnata Forst. ( Sapindaceae ) (new plant association) along a stream.
