Stegopleurodon planirostrum— Lee et al. 2017: 24 (list). Material examined. 1 male (14.0 × 9.2 mm) (MNHN-IU- 2015-64) [photographed], stn CP4298, Solomon Sea, Woodlark Island, 09°36’S 152°55’E, 474 m, coll. MADEEP Expedition, 1 May 2014.

Remarks. Stegopleurodon planirostrum was described from New Caledonia ( Richer de Forges & Ng 2009b). The specimen collected from the MADEEP expedition in PNG is a new distribution record for this species.
