( Fig. 4d View FIGURE 4 )
Distribution: BEN, DOC, GBI, GUI, RCI, RCH, SLN.
Distribution in Guinea-Bissau (Administrative Regions): 1) BAF; 2) CAC.
Historic records:
— Bafatá (BAF) ( Brivio 1958 sub Proxenus collaris Moser ).
Material examined: Canchungo ‒ Caió (CAC), 21.VI.1992, 1♂, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC .
Remarks. A common ant cetoniinae species distributed throughout West Africa, but also found in DOC ( Malec 2015; Schoolmeesters 2019). The adult male specimen of Canchungo ‒ Caió was sampled by LT ( Fig. 2c View FIGURE 2 ) and fits very well the original description, including the typical paramers conformation of the species (see Schein 1954 a and Malec 2015, Fig. 46a). Biodiversity information (abundance, habitat preference) was provided by Le Gall (2015) and Malec (2015). The GBI specimen was sampled by LT ( Fig. 2c View FIGURE 2 ) in open secondary forest. It is a new species record for CAC Administrative Region of Guinea-Bissau
