Type species: Epilampra laevis Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1865 View in CoL . By monotypy.

Note: The genus Calolamprodes was described from the series collected from Yunnan ( China) and identified as C. laevis by Bey-Bienko (1969). The true C. laevis was described from "Carin Chebà. Mont Mooleyit (Tenasserim)" ( Brunner von Wattenwyl 1893, p. 29), modern Tanintharyi Region in Myanmar. Later, the specimens from Yunnan were assigned to a new species— C. beybienkoi Anisyutkin, 2006 .
