Habitat and distribution in Iran: Tehran Province, soil, ornamental plants; Guilan Province, soil ( Hamidi et al., 2013; Maleki et al., 2016; Nemati et al., 2018; Ghasemi & Hajizadeh, 2021).
World Distribution: Argentina, U.S.A., China and Spain. Holotype for G. gamasoides from Italy (Florence, Genoa), decaying vegetables ( Quintero-Gutiérrez & Halliday, 2021).
