Type species. Alycaeus eydouxi VENmaNs, 1956 (rEpLaCEmENT NamE fOr Cyclostoma gibbum EydOUx, 1838 [FèrUssaC ms.], NON Cyclostoma gibbum DraparNaUd, 1805), by sUbsEqUENT dEsIGNaTION ( NEvILL 1878).

Species inhabiting China, Laos and Vietnam. Alycaeus anceyi MabILLE, 1887 ( FIGUrE 3E ), A. mouhoti L. PfEIffEr, 1862 , A. rolfbrandti MaassEN, 2006 ( FIGUrE 3B ); A. vanbuensis (Bavay & DaUTzENbErG, 1900) ( FIGUrE 3C ). Remarks. ALL Alycaeus spECIEs HavE bEEN ExamINEd by Us. Alycaeus vanbuensis dOEs NOT bELONG IN Dioryx , as OrIGINaLLy prOpOsEd, bECaUsE THE CONsTrICTION Is sITUaTEd dIsTaNT frOm THE apErTUrE.
