C o m m e n t: The original description of Zyras argus is based on a unique holotype (IABLOKOFF- KHNZORIAN 1960). An examination of this specimen, a male, revealed that it is conspecific with Myrmoecia reitteri , a species previously known from Bosnia- Herzegovina, Greece, and Turkey ( ASSING 2010a).
