Previous distribution. Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, México [Chiapas, Estado de México, Oaxaca (Bethania, rio Choapan; Candelaria de Loxicha; Jacatepec, Uxpanapa), Veracruz], Nicaragua, Panamá, Paraguay, Perú, Trinidad, Venezuela.
Material examined. MÉXICO: Oaxaca, Santa Catarina Lachatao, Puente de los Trabajos, 17°15’11”N, 96°29’27”W, 1985 m asl, 31.vii.2014, light trap, V.S. Jiménez-Hernández, J.A. Casasola-González & M. Razo- González, 1 male (alcohol).
Remarks. The altitudinal range is extended from 40 m asl (Bethania) to 1985 m asl.
