III. 1960, coll. Yiran Zhang; Guangxi Province: 1 ♂, Shangsi County, Hongqi Forest Farm, 380 m, 17. III. 1998, coll. Haisheng Zhou; Sichuan Province: 4 ♂♂, 1 ♀, Lushan County, Longmen village, 12. X. 2005, coll. Haifeng Chen.

Measurements. BL = 12.4 mm, BW = 2.7 mm, HL/PL/EL = 1.00: 1.46: 1.77, HW/PW/EW/AW = 1.00: 1.40: 1.66: 1.51, HW/HL = 1.15, HEL/HTL = 4.28, PW/PL = 1.10, EW/EL = 1.08, ESL/EL = 0.53.

Distribution. Quedius chinensis Bernhauer is widely distributed in China (Chongqing, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Shandong, Sichuan and Zhejiang Province) in relatively low altitudes from 150 m to 2300 m.
