( Figs 17A View FIGURE 17 , 26L View FIGURE 26 , 40F View FIGURE 40 , 57C View FIGURE 57 )

Type material. Holotype ♂, CHINA, Guizhou Province, Suiyang County, Kuankuoshui Reserves, Xiasicun (28.13°N, 107.23°E), 840 m, 8.vi.2010, leg. Linlin Yang, genitalia slide no. LGE16158 GoogleMaps . Paratype: 1 ♀, same data as holotype except for 6.vi.2010, leg. Linlin Yang, genitalia slide no. LGE16159 GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. The new species can be recognized by the light brown forewing simply marked with narrow streaks distally. The male genitalia are somewhat similar to those of T. rotundata , but the distal 1/3 of valva is uniformly elongate to the apex in T. guizhouensis whereas it is gradually broadening in the latter. The apex of uncus is truncate in T. guizhouensis whereas most of species in this group have rounded apex. The female genitalia of T. guizhouensis are diagnosed by the segment VIII covered with minute spines laterally and the long and coiled ductus bursae.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 17A View FIGURE 17 ). Wingspan 14.5−15.0 mm. Head cream. Labial palpus cream except segment I fuscous on outer surface; in male stout, segment I long, segment II as long as I and slightly shorter than III, with hair pencil reaching apex of segment III; in female slender, segment I very short, segment II as long as III, tinged with fuscous in basal 1/3 of outer surface. Antenna with scape cream; flagellum with dorsal surface cream, beyond middle gradually darkening, ventral surface brown; male cilia slightly longer than diameter. Thorax cream, tinged with brown along posterior margin. Tegula cream except anterior and inner margins suffused with brown. Forewing ground color light brown, base strongly mixed with cream and gradually darker toward apex, anterior edge of costa dark brown in basal 1/4; apical area brown, with two inwardly oblique, dark brown costal strigulae alternating with yellowish cream scales before apical spot; apical spot round, bordered inwardly by greyish white scales, apex falcate; other markings cream or yellowish cream: a slender streak running along anterior edge of costa from basal 1/4 of wing, slightly curved after middle, extended to distal 1/4 of wing along subcosta; beyond this, a costal streak from distal 1/4 of wing, outwardly oblique, reaching half way across wing, bordered outwardly by a dark brown streak; from lower angle of discal cell a longitudinal streak running toward apical spot, interrupted by grey scales before meeting costal streak; tornus broadly cream or yellowish cream, with a dark brown tornal streak shortly running toward costal streak; fringe on apical area cream with basal and terminal black bands, on termen metallic fuscous except base mixed cream and brown, on dorsum mixed cream and grey. Hindwing dark grey except subapex cream and apex black; fringe grey, apical area mixed cream and fuscous. Legs cream to yellowish cream, fore femur, tibia and tarsus black on outer surface; in male, mid femur slightly suffused with black on outer surface, hind femur with a somewhat indistinct black streak on outer surface near apex; mid and hind tarsi with tarsomere I slightly or strongly mixed with black in basal 1/2, tarsomeres II−IV black in basal 1/2, tarsomere V black.

Male sternum VIII ( Fig. 26L View FIGURE 26 ). Slightly shorter than 1/4 length of abdomen, gradually narrowed toward apex; posterior 1/6 bifid, each tine slender and round apically.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 40F View FIGURE 40 ). Uncus tongue-shaped with truncate apex. Gnathos hook simple, long. Tegumen approximately 3 times as long as uncus. Valva gradually broadening from base to 2/3, then uniformly elongate to apex, rounded apically. Anellus lobe elliptical, 1/5 length of valva, sparsely setose along ventral margin; apical bristle slightly shorter than anellus lobe, hooked. Juxta simple, slightly convex. Vinculum with posterior margin strongly produced in triangle. Saccus extremely short. Aedeagus with basal 1/2 dilated, uniform to near apex, abruptly narrowed and pointed apically.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 57C View FIGURE 57 ). Papillae anales strongly sclerotized along anterior margin. Apophyses anteriores 2/3 length of apophyses posteriores. Segment VIII with posterior margin deeply concave medially, posterior 1/2 covered with numerous minute spines laterally; sternum VIII longer than tergum VIII, broadly convex anteriorly. Ostium bursae round, opening in anterior 1/2 of sternum VIII. Ductus bursae very long and coiled, base narrowed, with a short linear sclerite at extreme base. Corpus bursae elliptical, 1/2 length of ductus bursae; signum round, situated in posterior 1/4 of corpus bursae, bulged inward, consisting of minute denticles.

Distribution. China (Guizhou).
