H o l o t y p u s (): Malaysia, Pahang, 30 km NE of Raub, ca 300m, Lata Lembik, 3°56´N 101°38´E, iv-v.2002, ET, E. Jendek & O. Sausa leg. (Linz).

D e s c r i p t i o n:

Body length 8 mm. Flagellum short, filiform, with 18 flagellomeres, first flagellomere (without anellus) only 1.5 times, the second one 1.7 times as long as wide, preapical flagellomeres square.

Frons, vertex and gena almost smooth and strongly shining, face and clypeus with small dense puncture. Malar space 1.1 times as long as the width of the mandibular base.

Mesosoma shining, with whitish hairs. Pronotum smooth, with small ribs on hind margin, upper margin thickened. Notauli indistinct, mesoscutum with dense puncture in the anterior 4/5, smooth and shining behind. Mesopleura with dense puncture, speculum very large, smooth. Prepectal and coxal carinae strong, with transversal ribs, metapleura with coarse and dense puncture. Scutellum moderately elevated, transverse, with complete lateral carinae, almost smooth. Propodeum with complete carination and coarse puncture, spiracles almost round. Coxae with dense punctation, hind coxa without scopa. Femur III club-shaped, about 2.9 times as long as high. All claws with strong teeth.

Areolet slightly narrowed in front, minimal distance of intercubiti about 4-5 times their width, 2m-cu reaching the areolet before its middle. Nervulus of front wing antefurcal.

Metasoma amblypygous. Postpetiole moderately widened to the apex, without distinct dorsal carinae, almost smooth with coarse but scattered puncture. Second tergite 0.8 times as long as wide, gastrocoeli and thyridia transverse, each thyridium about 0.8 times as wide as their interval. Second tergite with coarse and dense puncture, smooth in the apical 0.1, third tergite with dense puncture, smooth in the apical 0.25. Following tergites smooth and shining.

Colour dark brown. Yellowish are mandibular base, face and clypeus except a brown central spot on clypeus, frontal orbits, orbits on vertex and gena, scape, collare, ventral sides and upper margin of pronotum, two hook-like longitudinal stripes on mesoscutum which are confluent in the apical fourth, subalar ridge, scutellum and postscutellum, carinal triangle and metapleura dorsal of coxal carina, areae superoexternae and dentiparae of propodeum, tergite 1 completely, posterolateral spots on tergite 2, apical band on tergite 3, small anal marks on tergites 4,6, and 7, front and middle coxae and trochanters and dorsal spot on hind coxa. Hind coxa brown. Legs reddish-brown otherwise, with yellow spots on the apex of front and middle femur, and yellow subbasal rings or stripes of all tibiae. Hind femur reddish-brown, blackish basally and apically, hind trochanter black. Pterostigma yellowish-brown with dark base.
