Anisobas kankoensis (UCHIDA 1932) View in CoL nov. ssp. laoticus

H o l o t y p u s (): Laos, Phongsaly prov., 21°42-2´N 102°06 -8`E, Phongsaly env., ca. 1500 m, 28.v.-20.vi.2003, Jendek & Sausa leg. (Linz).

The available specimen resembles Anisobas kankoensis UCHIDA as redescribed by Heinrich (1975), but differs in a few details: first flagellomere about 3.8 times as long as wide, the longitudinal keel of the pronotum very distinct, propodeum black, without ivory spots.

In my opinion, these differences do not verify a distinct species, and I would propose this taxon as a new subspecies.
