Clarias aff. batrachus (Linnaeus, 1758)
Clarias batrachus (Linnaeus, 1758) : Sulaiman & Shahdan, 2003: 60 (Tasek Merimbun); Sulaiman & Shahdan,
2007: 18 (Tasek Merimbun).
Remarks. Clarias batrachus is presently restricted to Java, and population identified as Clarias batrachus from Borneo and the Malay Peninsula is not regarded as conspecific (Ng & Kottelat, 2008: 726). Clarias aff. batrachus in Brunei is identified by its sole-shaped frontal fontanelle and less triangular supraoccipital process (Lee & Sulaiman, 2015: 183).
