Lindenius sardashti LECLERCQ 1975 View in CoL 1, 20
This species is very similar to L. ibex (KOHL) but can be easily recognized by the form of the metatarse of foreleg. The males of Syria in this material are characterized by variable yellow spots on tergites. From the same locality I have seen a female with yellow spots on tergites like in Ectemnius. This may be the hitherto unknown female of L. sardashti Leclercq. As I know, L. sardashti is the only species of Lindenius with yellow marks on the abdomen!
