C h i n a: 1, Yunnan, Dequen, 3900 m /m, 10.-19. VII.1996, leg. Kucera. This male of subgenus Blepharipus can be distinctly recognized by mandibles extremely broadened on distal half, nearly twice as broad as at the base. Clypeus broad and blunt, with blunt teeth lateral, collare lateral broad, with distinct carina that curves behind median ; hairs on vertex and scutum longer than diameter of ocellus; vertex scutum, scutellum and mesopleuron with microsculpture and nearly unpunctate; mesopleuron without precoxal tubercle; propodeal enclosure with microsculpture and not delimited by a pitted furrow posteriorly. Body completely black, body-length 7.5 mm .
