General distribution. This species occurs from the Arabian Peninsula through Iran, Pakistan, India, China, southern Japanese islands, and Southeast Asia to the Australasian Region (although material from east of Wallace’s Line could refer to other taxa; see Damgaard et al. 2014).
Remarks. This species was recorded in Pakistan from Punjab by Pruthi (1933) and Hafiz & Ribeiro (1939) (see list above for further detail).
