Distribution within Iran. Golestan (Khormali et al. 2002).
Distribution outside Iran. Afghanistan, Albania, Azores, Canary Islands (Tenerife), Cyprus, Egypt, France ( Corsica), Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Syria, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Turkey. Cosmopolitan species.
