Diagnosis. Body slender. Occipital carina interrupted above medially, joining the hypostomal carina above the base of mandible. Antenna with 37 – 51 flagellomeres. Epomia usually absent, sometimes present but weak. Apex of metasternum with a pair of convergent teeth between the base of hind coxa. Areolet present, slightly to strongly petiolate. 1st tergite long, slender, without glymma.
