( W!) .

Boissier (1879: 586) described it as a variety of Z. clinopodioides based on syntypes: Szovits s.n., Kotschy 408 & 698, Aucher 1639 & 5115, Haussknecht s.n., Griff s.n., and Stocks s.n”. Later, lectotype was designated as Kotschy 408 in the Flora Iranica by Rechinger (1982). He stated that type specimens were stored in G and W herbaria. However, it was not specified which specimen was the lectotype and which herbarium this specimen was in. There are two specimens of Kotschy 408 in G ( G00402142 and G00402143 ) and W herbaria ( W0031742 and W0031743 ). Therefore, according to the Shenzhen Code 2018: Art. 9.15, the specimen with barcode number G00402142 in G is designated as the lectotype because it is well preserved and best reflects the characteristics of the taxon in the protologue ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 ). Specimens at G, W & K herbaria (barcodes G00402143 , W0031742 , W0031743 , WAG0004424 View Materials , K000938873 ) are isolectotypes.
