Distribution. Argentina ( Young 1977): Misiones ( Remes Lenicov et al. 1999), Entre Ríos ( Dellapé et al. 2016). New records: Jujuy (Los Manantiales), Salta (A. Juarez, Embarcación, Pocitos, Urundel), La Rioja (Chilecito), Tucumán (Lules), Formosa (Misión Laishí), Chaco (Laguna Blanca), Corrientes (Bella Vista), Buenos Aires.
Associated plants. Citrus sinensis (L.) Osb. ( Remes Lenicov et al. 1999), Brassica napus L. var. oleifera ( Paris et al. 2012) , Vitis vinífera L. (Ringengerg 2008), Coffea arabica L. ( Carvalho et al. 2015). New records: Citrus x limon (L.) Burm. F. and Olea europaea L. var. arauco “ olive”.
Natural enemies: Salticidae (Chelicerata: Aranae) ( Defea 2018, unpublished data)
Phytosanitary importance. Confirmed vector of X. fastidiosa subsp. pauca to plants of Olea europaea L. Osb. ( Lopes & Froza 2021) .
