Material studied: ♂, Japan, central Hokkaido, Daisetsuzan, Mt. Kurodake , 04– 19.09.1981, leg. N. Yasuda ( EUMJ) .

Remarks. Only the holotype male of this species is known so far; this is presumably another endemic Veraphis for Hokkaido.
