Leucophenga rectifoliacea Huang & Chen , sp. nov.
( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 F, 7A, 7B, 9H, 13A, 13B, 29)
Diagnosis. This species is very similar to L. fuscithorax sp. nov. in the patterns of wing and abdominal tergites ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 F, 9H), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the setae of epandrium distribute from posterodorsal portion and ventral corners ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 A), the aedeagus slightly round apically, submedially with 1 small ventral projection, subapically with 1 small dorsal projection ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 D).
Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with ca. 3–6 setae above ocellar setae. Frons yellowish brown to brown. Pedicel yellow; first flagellomere brown. Clypeus brownish yellow. Mesonotum yellowish brown, with 1 dark, brown longitudinal stripe medially in holotype ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 A), sometimes without any stripes in some paratypes. Postpronotal lobe yellow. Acrostichal setulae in ca. 14 irregular rows ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 A). Scutellum brown medially, dark laterally, pale at tip ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 A). Pleura with a intermittent, brown longitudinal stripe above ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 B). Katepisternum and meron yellow ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 B). Wing ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 F): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with ca. 9 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites brown to dark brown ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 H); second yellow anteromedially, with a yellow patch laterally; third with a pair of narrow, yellow patches submedially on anterior margin; fourth and fifth usually each with 2 pairs of yellow patches submedially; sixth yellow posteriorly. Male terminalia: Hypandrium lacking sensillum ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 B). Paramere long triangular, with ca. 4 sensilla and pubescence distally ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 C). Aedeagus slender, nearly reticulated completely ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 D).
