Leucophenga hirsutina Huang & Chen , sp. nov.
( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 C, 6E, 6F, 9B, 12E, 12F, 26)
Diagnosis. This species is very similar to L. apunctata sp. nov. in the patterns of wing and abdominal tergites ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 B), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the mesonotum nearly brownish yellow ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 E), the paramere acute basally and apically ( Fig. 26 View FIGURE 26 C), the aedeagus reticulated medially ( Fig. 26 View FIGURE 26 D).
Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with ca. 5–6 setae above ocellar setae. Frons brown to dark brown. Pedicel brownish; first flagellomere yellowish brown. Face yellow above, brown below. Clypeus brown to dark brown. Postpronotal lobe yellow. Acrostichal setulae in ca. 12 irregular rows ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 E). Scutellum yellowish brown, yellow at tip ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 E). Katepisternum brownish yellow ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 F). Meron yellowish brown ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 F). Wing ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 C): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with ca. 10 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown to black ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 B); second yellow medially; third with a pair of yellow patches submedially on anterior margin; fourth with 2 pairs of yellow patches submedially; sixth with yellow patch posteriorly. Male terminalia: Epandrium with numerous (ca. 29) setae per side ( Fig. 26 View FIGURE 26 A). Hypandrium with 1 sensillum ( Fig. 26 View FIGURE 26 B). Paramere with ca. 3 sensilla and several pubescence distally ( Fig. 26 View FIGURE 26 C). Aedeagus ventrad curved distally and nearly square apically, with 1 small projection subapically ( Fig. 26 View FIGURE 26 D).
