Leucophenga arcuata Huang & Chen , sp. nov.
( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 F, 5A, 5B, 8F, 11A, 11B, 19)
Diagnosis. This species is very similar to L. euryphylla sp. nov. in the shaped of paramere ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 C), and the patterns of wing and abdominal tergites ( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 F, 8F), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus with numerous, minute, serrated processes on base expansion ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 D), the mesonotum yellowish brown anteromedially, dark brown posteromedially and laterally ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A), the katepisternum mostly brownish ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 B).
Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with ca. 3–7 setae above ocellar setae. Frons brown. Pedicel yellowish; first flagellomere yellowish brown. Clypeus dark brown. Mesonotum yellowish brown anteromedially, dark brown posteromedially and laterally in holotype ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A), sometimes without dark brown in some paratypes. Postpronotal lobe yellow. Acrostichal setulae in ca. 14–15 irregular rows ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A). Scutellum brown, pale at tip ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A). Meron yellow ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 B). Wing ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 F): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with ca. 8 peglike spinules on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites brown to dark brown, yellow along lateral margins ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 F); second yellow on median; third with narrow yellow patches submedially along anterior margin; fourth and fifth each with 2 pairs of yellow patches submedially; sixth with M-shaped yellow patch medially. Male terminalia: Epandrium with ca. 15 setae near dorsal margin to ventral corner per side ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 A). Hypandrium with 1 sensillum ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 B). Paramere basally narrow, distally broadened, with ca. 6 sensilla and pubescence ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 C).
