( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 D, 4G, 4H, 8D, 10G, 10H, 17)

Leucophenga todai Sidorenko, 1991: 403 .

Diagnosis. This species is similar to L. trivittata Okada, 1990 from Thailand in the patterns of abdominal tergites ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 D), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the wing pattern ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D) and katepisternum mostly brown ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 H). In L. trivittata , the wing with distinct dark patches on base, r-m vein and antero-middle ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 A in Okada 1990), the katepisternum yellow.

Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with ca. 2–7 setae above ocellar setae. Frons yellowish brown to brown. Pedicel yellow; first flagellomere brownish yellow. Clypeus yellowish brown. Mesonotum yellowish brown medially, brown laterally, with 2 broad, brown longitudinal stripes submedially ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 G). Postpronotal lobe yellowish. Acrostichal setulae in ca. 13–15 irregular rows ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 G). Scutellum brown, pale on tip ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 G). Meron brown ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 H). Wing ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with ca. 7 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Mid and hindlegs dark brown to black on knees. Abdominal tergites dark brown to black, thin yellow along all margins ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 D); second broadly yellow medially; third with a pair of narrow, yellow patches submedially along anterior margin; fourth and fifth with 2 pairs of yellow patches submedially along or near anterior margins; sixth with a pair of yellow patch submedially. Male terminalia: Epandrium with ca. 9 setae near dorsal and posterior margins, and ca. 5 setae on ventral corner per side ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 A). Hypandrium with 1 sensillum ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 B). Paramere thin on basal 1/3, with ca. 4 sensilla and pubescence distally ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 C). Aedeagus mostly reticulated, distally curved ventrad and with a dorsal, small projection ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 D).
