Diagnosis. Mesonotum yellowish brown on anterior 2/3, dark brown on posterior 1/3, with 2 brown, thin longitudinal stripes sublaterally ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C); aedeagus straight, somewhat triangularly expanded apically ( Fig. 15 View FIGURE 15 D).

Measurements. BL = 3.57–4.67 mm in ♂, 3.20–3.80 mm in ♀ (range in 5♂ and 5♀), THL = 1.53–2.17 mm in ♂, 1.30–1.73 mm in ♀, WL = 3.20–4.23 mm in ♂, 2.92–3.53 mm in ♀, WW = 1.50–2.03 mm in ♂, 1.38–1.67 mm in ♀, arb = 5–7/2–3, avd = 0.69–0.90, adf = 1.17–1.50, flw = 1.41–1.87, FW/HW = 0.37–0.42, ch/o = 0.03–0.06, prorb = 0.57–0.69, rcorb = 0.68–0.89, vb = 0.39–0.50, dcl = 0.44–0.56, presctl = 0.36–0.52, sctl = 1.23–1.64, sterno = 0.62–0.81, orbito = 2.20–2.60, dcp = 0.23–0.31, sctlp = 0.83–1.00, C = 2.18–2.52, 4c = 1.30–1.53, 4v = 1.96–2.45, 5x = 0.96–1.33, ac = 2.89–3.57, M = 0.51–0.76, C3F = 0.73–0.85.

Specimens examined. CHINA: 22♂, 18♀ (SCAU, No. 121523 –62), Maoniuhe, Danba, Sichuan, 30˚41'N, 101˚45'E, alt. 2650m, 14.ix.2005, ex tree trunks, HL Cao, HW Chen, MF Xu.

Distribution. China (Sichuan), Japan (Honshu).

Remarks. The specimens show slightly difference from L. saigusai in the abdominal patterns ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 I in Okada 1968), while no more difference could be found, especially in male terminalia, therefore, we identify all of the specimens as L. saigusai .
