Material examined. 3 males, 7 females from Toxostoma rufum (Linnaeus, 1758) ( Passeriformes : Mimidae ), (SM 1017), CANADA, Manitoba, no location, 7 July 2002, coll. T.D. Galloway.

This species is known only from the Brown Thrasher, T. rufum , and previously was recorded from the USA (Michigan and North Carolina) ( Mironov & OConnor 2014). In Canada, it is recorded for the first time.
