Emended diagnosis, female. Head globoid. Clypeus wholly projected forward, progressively less laterad, median and lateral lobes indistinguishable; anterior margin thick, emarginated medially, thus seeming bicarinate in frontal view; median area elevated, ᴧ-shaped, but not forming one carina. Mandible with two apical teeth. Antenna with 11 flagellomeres. Eye sub-elliptical, ventral margin straight, dorsal margin strongly outcurved when observed in lateral view, sparsely setose, contour not protruding when observed in dorsal view. VOL shorter than HE. Prosternum diamond-shaped, very small, less than 0.1 × as wide as propleura. Forewing anterior margin straight, only R and 1Cu cells closed, C, poststigmal abscissa of R1 and 2rs-r&Rs absent; pterostigma short; longitudinal fold distally forked. Metasomal tergum I with anterior surface subvertical. Metasomal tergum III sometimes with nodules close to posterior margin. Metasomal tergum III with tubercles close to posterior margin. Apex of metasoma and sting slightly upcurved. Male unknown.
