Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 A–D

Description, female. Body 4.26 mm long. Forewing 1.99 mm long. LH 0.65 mm. WH 0.71 mm. WF 0.38 mm. HE 0.31 mm. WOT 0.14 mm. OOL 0.20 mm.

Color. Head dark castaneous, clypeus castaneous, antenna castaneous, mandible castaneous, progressively darker ventrad, palpi castaneous. Mesosoma dark castaneous, legs somewhat dark castaneous, tarsi castaneous, forewing subhyaline, hind wing hyaline, veins light castaneous. Metasoma dark castaneous.

Head. Head mostly converging anterad in dorsal view, lateral margin outcurved at temple level, otherwise almost straight, wider at temple level, vertex evenly outcurved. Gena visible in dorsal view. Malar space large, about as long as proximal mandibular width. Malar sulcus absent. Anterior clypeal margin distinctly thicker medially. Mandible with dorsal margin abruptly curved distally, ventral margin incurved. Pedicel about 3.0 × as long as flagellomere I; mid flagellomeres wider than longer. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute. Anterior margin of anterior ocellus touching supra-ocular line. WH 1.10 × LH; WF 0.54 × WH; WF 1.25 × HE; OOL 1.44 × WOT. Intertorular space less than torular diameter. Frons weakly coriaceous, punctures small, shallow and sparse. Frontal line sulcate, inconspicuous. Hypostomal carina conspicuous, evenly arched, not angulate medially. Occipital carina absent.

Mesosoma. Dorsum of thorax more coriaceous than frons, punctures shallow and dense. Pronotal flange short, surface subvertical. Anteromesoscutum medially longer than mesoscutellum. Notauli absent. Parapsidal signum complete, narrow, conspicuous, slightly outcurved, converging posterad. Mesoscutum-mesoscutellar sulcus straight medially and angled posterad laterally, not dilated laterally. Metapectal-propodeal disc with transverse anterior, metapostnotal median, first metapostnotal lateral and transverse posterior carinae; first metapostnotal lateral carina straight, incomplete posteriorly and almost straight, lateral margin straight, parallel, disc slightly rugulose between and around first metapostnotal lateral carinae, otherwise coriaceous-weakly coriaceous. First abdominal spiracle elliptical, located on dorsal surface of metapectal-propodeal disc, not intercepted by lateral carina. Propodeal declivity weakly coriaceous, without median carina. Lateral surface of metapectal-propodeal complex coriaceous to weakly coriaceous. Mesopleuron weakly coriaceous, transepisternal line present only anteriorly, central pit minute. Forewing with prestigmal abscissa of R1 0.7 × as long as Rs&M. Hind wing with one proximal hamulus and three distal hamuli not evenly spaced. Mesotibia strongly spinose.

Metasoma. Tergite III without any tubercle, but surface with pair of very tiny lump and carina connecting them; tergites IV–V with pair of small callus-shaped tubercles, connected by transverse carina. Inter-tubercular space 0.67 × outer-tubercular space for metasoma IV and 1.0 × for metasoma V.

Variations. Measurements of paratype: body length 4.15 mm. Forewing 1.97 mm. LH 0.72 mm. WH 0.72 mm. WF 0.38 mm. HE 0.31 mm. WOT 0.15 mm. OOL 0.18 mm. WH 1.0 × LH; WF 0.53 × WH; WF 1.25 × HE; OOL 1.20 × WOT.

Etymology. The specific epithet concursum , meaning “meeting”, derives from Latin referring to the head with its sides converging anterad when seen in dorsal view.

Remarks. This species is similar to D. dolium by having callus-shaped tubercles on metasomal tergites IV–V. Discleroderma concursum , however, has the head considerably convergent anterad, wider posteriorly, and the gena visible in dorsal view, whereas D. dolium has the head barrel-shaped, widest medially, and the gena not visible in dorsal view.
