TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, S Northern Territory, Alice Springs .
DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.
STATUS: U.S. ESA - Endangered; IUCN - Extinct.
COMMENTS: Still represented only by the holotype. "It is difficult to determine whether or not this represents a distinct species or a rather aberrant specimen of some other species" ( Watts and Aslin, 1981: 171).
