TYPE LOCALITY: N Zaire (Haut-Zaïre), Batiabongena (Masako Forest Reserve), 00°36'N, 25º13'E GoogleMaps .
DISTRIBUTION: Recorded only from the type locality.
COMMENTS: A distinct forest species related to P. jacksoni and occurring sympatrically with it ( Van der Straeten and Dudu, 1990).
