TYPE LOCALITY: Zaire, Kivu, Bogamanda near Lemera .

DISTRIBUTION: Recorded from montane forest in E Zaire (Kivu) and Rwanda above 1800 m; limits unknown, possibly a montane Western Rift endemic.
