Material examined. MNHN 2003.3371 (young male; SVL 48.7 mm), MNHN 2003.3372 (juvenile; SVL 50.5 mm), vicinity of Lubuksao, Province of Sumatera Barat, elev. about 400 m. – Several specimens observed on slopes of Mounts Tigapulan, Province of Riau.
Taxonomic comments. The two young specimens were collected. Parotoid glands are rounded, slightly triangular typical for this species ( Inger 1966). Snout is distinctly projecting and tympanum very small; feet are half webbed; highly tuberculated.
Distribution on Sumatra. This species is known from all over Sumatra.
Biology. A relatively common species, in particular near forest creeks; found active by night and sometime at daytime. Observed in August and November.
