Material examined. MNHN 2003.3378 (adult male; SVL 38.5 mm), about 20 km west of Pundung Lamanggang, Province of Jambi.
Taxonomic comments. The specimen from Sumatra is very close to the syntypes from Nicobar Islands (ZSI 2783, 2785-86, 3562-63, 3565-70) in size and morphology. It has a more distinctly spotted pattern on back.
Distribution on Sumatra. Species occurs all over Sumatra.
Biology. A single specimen was encountered in November; it was active in the morning during clear weather in a ditch along a road crossing a secondary forest.
