TYPE DEPOSITORY: not stated.
TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: Scheusingen, Thuringia, Germany, in litter.
NOTE: Kramer's description of this species was brief and general, and was not illustrated except for the epistome. Berlese (1916a) transferred it to Lasioseius without providing any extra information. Oudemans (1939b) considered it to be Platyseius on the basis of the elongate ambulacrum.
