Holotype: The specimen, examined by Knutson in 1978 in MRAC, is a ♀ labelled “Moyen-Kwili; Leverville, [no date] P. Vanderijst”, not as Verbeke (1950) published “ 1♂ étiqueté: “Wombali, ix.1913 (P. Vanderijst)”. Both localities are in the DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO.
