Distribution. Dominica (seen flying only), Guadeloupe (P. l. guadelupiensis ), St. Lucia (P. l. rudolphi Frölich 1892: 115); Lesser Antilles endemic. Notes. Adults often rare. Blackwelder 1944-1957: 263 lists Jamaica and Hispaniola in error.
