Hosts. Asteraceae : * Prenanthes L. , Taraxacum F.H. Wigg. ( Lonsdale 2017) .
Leaf mine. ( Figs. 146–147 View FIGURES 144–153 ) Pale greenish, turning brownish; beginning as an irregular track along the leaf margin, gradually expanding to an elongate blotch; frass mostly in squiggly strips. In the single occupied mine found, three larvae fed side by side.
Puparium. Orange-brown; formed outside the mine.
Distribution. * USA: MA; Canada: AB, ON.
Comments. Our specimens are the first known females of this species.
