Platydracus brachycerus View in CoL group
The presumably termitophilous Platydracus brachycerus group can be defined by the following characters: body slender, head hardly dilated posteriad, pronotum with lateral sides more or less parallel; punctation of entire body relatively coarse and sparse, pubescence relatively sparse; maxillary and labial palpi stout; antennomeres 4–11 or 5–11 with pubescence; tarsomere 5 with apical projection (except Platydracus donnyi Rougemont, 2015 ) ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 25–27 ); median portion of male sternite VII with large depression bearing numerous long setae.
