Morphological remarks. In South American specimens mesosoma is completely black ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ); hind leg (except trochanters) strongly darkened with brown ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ); head with eye orbits distinctly convergent ventrally ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ); temple, in dorsal view, 0.4× as long as eye width; clypeus small, 2.3× as broad as long ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ); flagellum with 25 flagellomeres; basal part of propodeum 0.7× as long as apical area ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ); second tergite 1.9× as long as anteriorly broad; and ovipositor sheath 3.2× as long as first tergite ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ).
