A. pusillus can be identified by the following characteristics: face completely yellow, hind coxae predominantly yellow and fore wing with 3r-m (weakly) present (Fig. 4). This ichneumonid species is a parasitoid of the concealed larvae of Phyllocolpa spp. (Symphyta: Tenthredinidae ). Being caught in August it matches known phenological records (FITTON et al., 1982). First report for Belgium and the Netherlands.
