Remarks. The species was only mentioned from Mexico in the catalogue by Carlson (1979) with no details on its distribution in Mexico.
Material examined. Jalisco: 1 ♀ ( EMEC) Biological Station Chamela, at lights, 23–31.VII.1990, coll. Chemsak, UC Berkeley EMEC 735335 About EMEC .
Distribution. USA (many localities), Mexico (* Jalisco).
Biology. Reared from species of Lepidoptera genera Astala Davis , Cryptothelea Duncan & Westwood , Oiketicus Guilding and Thyridopteryx Stephens (Psychidae) , Grapholita Treitschke (Tortricidae) and Orgyia Ochsenheimer (Erebidae) . Also recorded as hyperparasitoid in the ichneumonid genera Iseropus Förster and Itoplectis Förster ( Hymenoptera : Ichneumonidae ).
