Type Locality. “ Peru ” .

Current Status. Valid species.

Remarks. Spaeth (1932b) based the description on numerous specimens collected across much of South America. However, he stated that the holotype from Peru is in his collection and labeled all remaining specimens as cotypes, which are hence paratypes.

The ZMH specimen is part of the type series, as it was mentioned in the original description among specimens from the MFNB .
